Ogni giocatore riceve 6 carte, il resto va messo al centro della tavola. il giocatore più giovane comincia a giocare poi si procede in senso orario. Il giocatore successivo dovrà giocare una carta che corrisponda a quella in gioco, o per colore o per animale. Se uno non ha carte corrispondenti da giocare deve pescarne una (se la carta pescata è buona la si può giocare subito!). Ci sono 5 carte speciali che indicano azioni speciali, come pescare delle carte in più, saltare il turno, cambio del colore e così via… Le carte speciali non possono essere giocate come ultima carta.
